经省教育厅批准，我校于2003年在河南省率先创办国际部。现拥有英语方向（NS课程、AP课程、A-Level课程）和日语方向（中日课程）4个课程，在校学生600余人。我校国际部拥有全省一流的专业化国际教育团队，国际部主任一人：王阳（主持工作），加方校长一人： TYLER BLAIR MACLEAN，外教近20人，中方双语教师和行政管理人员50余人。我校国际部以培养综合型、高素质、具有国际视野的精英人才为目标，经过22年的积累沉淀，现已发展成为河南省高中国际教育领域办学最早、规模最大、质量最优的公办学校国际部。
一、英语方向
1、NS课程
加方课程由加拿大新斯科舍省教育部选派注册教师驻校授课，中方课程由河南省实验中学国际部具备双语教学能力的高中教师授课。学生注册中、加两国高中学籍，参加国内普通高中学业水平合格性考试和新斯科舍省毕业考试，合格后获中、加高中双文凭。学生以加拿大高中生身份，凭学业成绩可直接申请加、美、英、澳等英语国家和中国香港地区的大学。
2、AP课程
AP课程作为加拿大高中课程的学术拓展模块，专门面向学术能力突出且目标为美国藤校、英国G5类等世界顶尖院校的学生开放。课程与加拿大新斯科舍省教育部联合设计，采用"加拿大核心课程+AP课程"双轨制模式，在NS课程基础上同步开设AP课程，帮助学生构建具有竞争力的学术背景。我校现为美国大学理事会认证AP学校，学校编码为694401。
3、A-Level课程
A-Level是英国权威高中课程体系,着重培养学术专长与批判性思维，成绩受英国、美国、加拿大、澳大利亚、香港等160多个国家和地区顶尖大学认可。学生可按兴趣和未来专业方向选3-4门科目。适合申请英国牛津、剑桥等G5类大学，以及中国香港等英联邦教育体系院校。学生主修IGCSE/A-Level课程和学术英语，同时兼顾普通高中学业水平合格性考试考课程。我校现为牛津AQA考试局认证授权考试中学，中心编码为96490。
二、日语方向
中日课程以日语为第一外语，教学管理与我校普通高中保持一致。学生经过三年高中学习，成绩合格，颁发普通高中毕业证书。毕业生凭日语成绩和高中学业成绩赴日本留学。
22年来，河南省实验中学国际部已培养20届优秀毕业生3800余人，他们以优秀的学业成绩和综合素质，深受加拿大、美国、英国、澳大利亚、日本等国家和我国港澳地区的世界一流大学青睐。

Introduction of the International Department
Approved by the Henan Provincial Department of Education, our school took the lead in launching its International Department in Henan Province in 2003. Currently, the Department offers 4 program tracks, including 3 under the English Track (NS Program, AP Program, A-Level Program) and 1 under the Japanese Track (Sino-Japannese Program), with a total enrollment of over 600 students.
The International Department maintains a province-leading professional team for international education, comprising one Director of International department: WANG, Yang (acting director), one Canadian Principal: Tyler Blair Maclean, nearly 20 foreign teachers, and more than 50 Chinese bilingual educators and administrative staff. Guided by the mission to nurture comprehensive, high-caliber elite talents with a global outlook, the Department has evolved into the earliest-established, largest-scale, and highest-quality international education unit among public senior high schools in Henan Province, following 22 years of refined development and experience accumulation.
I. English Track
1. NS Program
The Canadian curriculum components of the NS Program are delivered by registered teachers dispatched by the Nova Scotia Department of Education (Canada), who are stationed on campus full-time. The Chinese curriculum components are taught by senior high school educators from the International Department of Henan Experimental High School, all of whom possess professional bilingual teaching competencies.
Students are formally registered with senior high school status in both China and Canada. They are required to take the National Academic Proficiency Qualification Examination for Regular Senior High Schools (China) and the Nova Scotia Graduation Examination (Canada). Upon successful completion of both assessments, students will be awarded dual senior high school diplomas (one from China and one from Canada).
As graduates of a Canadian senior high school curriculum, students may directly apply for undergraduate programs at universities in English-speaking countries (including Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia) as well as in Hong Kong, China, using their academic transcripts.
Positioned as an academic enhancement module of the Canadian senior high school curriculum, the AP Program is exclusively designed for students with exceptional academic ability who aspire to gain admission to world-top universities—such as Ivy League institutions in the U.S. and G5 universities in the U.K.
Co-developed with the Nova Scotia Department of Education (Canada), the Program adopts a structured dual-track model: "Canadian Core Curriculum + AP Courses". AP courses are offered concurrently with the NS Program curriculum, enabling students to build a competitive academic profile for top-tier university applications. Our school is currently a College Board-certified AP School with the CEEB code 694401.
A-Level is an authoritative senior high school curriculum system originating from the United Kingdom. It focuses on fostering academic expertise and critical thinking skills, and its results are recognized by leading universities in over 160 countries and regions—including the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, and Hong Kong, China.
Students may select 3-4 A-Level subjects based on their academic interests and future professional aspirations. This Program is particularly suitable for students applying to G5 universities (e.g., the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge) in the United Kingdom, as well as institutions under the British Commonwealth education system (such as universities in Hong Kong, China).
In addition to studying IGCSE/A-Level courses and Academic English, students also complete coursework required for the National Academic Proficiency Qualification Examination for Regular Senior High Schools. Our school is currently a certified center of Oxford AQA Examinations, with the center number 96490.
The Sino-Japannese Program designates Japanese as the primary foreign language, and its teaching management standards are fully aligned with those of the regular senior high school section of Henan Experimental High School.
After completing three years of senior high school studies and meeting all academic requirements, students will be awarded a Regular Senior High School Graduation Certificate (China). Graduates may pursue undergraduate studies in Japan, using their Japanese language proficiency test scores and senior high school academic transcripts as application credentials.
Over the past 22 years, the International Department of Henan Experimental High School has produced over 3,800 outstanding graduates spanning 20 graduating classes. These alumni have been highly sought after by world-class universities in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and China’s Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions—thanks to their exceptional academic achievements and well-rounded competencies.
