From 2003 to Present

 

•  On 27 th August, 2 nd Sept 2003, the first group of foreign staff came to HEHS, including a Japanese teacher, the Canadian arts teacher Glenn, and science teacher Brian came to international department.

•  On 3 rd September 2003, Mrs. Jacqui Hare from University of Wales Institute Cardiff , UK visited our school.

•  On 5 th September 2003, Mr. Mike Sweeny, the ministry of Nova Scotia, Canada and Mr. David White, the supervisor of international faculty, hosted the opening ceremony of Sino-Canadian program, and signed the contract with Henan Education Department for the Sino-Canadian program with both Chinese and English taught and certificates from both education systems granted.

•  On 18 th and 19 th October 2003, the director of international department went to join the exhibition of international education hosted in Beijing .

•  On 24 th October 2003, Mr. Hidetaka Matsuo , the principal of Kansai Language Institute, Japan and accompanying translator visited our school, evaluated the Japanese teacher and checked the study status of students.

•  On 15 th February 2004, Mr. Becky Andrea, American foreign teacher, visited our school.

•  On 16 th March 2004, Dr. Robert Pargetle (also vice principal of Monash University ) , the principal of Haileybuby College ranked in first position in Victoria , Australia , visited our school.

 

•  On 20 th March 2004, Japanese students visited our school and joined the football friendship match ending up as 5 to 10 with our school.

 

•  On 26 th March 2004, the founder of Atheneum of Anchorage in California, US, Mr. G. Kevin Holthaus and Mr. Robert Coulter from Primerica which is a subsidiary company of Citibank with other three accompanies visited our school.

 

•  On15 th April 2004, delegators from School of International Liberal Studies , Waseda University , Japan came to our school consulting enrolment issues.

 

•  On 27 th April 2004, the president of Japanese International Association, visited our school and negotiated the issue of the exchange program.

 

•  From 20th April to 12 th May 2004, Mr. David White, director of international affairs of Nova Scotia education department came to our school check and evaluate Canadian staff and students as routine.

 

•  In August 2004, our students exchange group visited Waseda University and Kansai Language Institute.

 

•  In August 2004, our students exchange group visited Australia for three weeks.

 

•  In September 2004, Mr. James Muir, the Minister of Nova Scotia education department, visited our school and hosted the ceremony for the second class of Sino-Canadian program.

•  In March 2005, Cook University , Ireland , visited our school.

•  In April 2005, East London University , UK , visited our school.

•  In May 2005, Mr. David White, the supervisor of international program of Nova Scotia education department visited our school and investigated the Sino-Canadian program as routine.

•  In June 2005, 12 exchange students and teachers visited our school for one week.

•  In September 2005, Vice Principal GUO Huaiyuan and 6 heads of grade paid a visit to Japan .

•  In October 2005, Chairman HU Jiayu and accompanying staff inspected Canada for two weeks and visited decades of Canadian universities concerning the scholarship application.

•  In November 2005, Waseda University came to our school hosting enrolment meeting.

•  In January 2006, Mount Alison University Canada came to our school investigate and interview our students.

•  From 22 nd January to 5 th February 2006, accepting the invitation of American sister-school, vice principal MA Yuxia inspected Cary Academy in North Carolina with 14 students for 2 weeks. This investigation activity succeeded to admiration.

•  In February 2006, Kansai Language Institute came to our school doing placement test with the students of Sino-Japanese program.

•  On 6 th March 2006, the teachers and students from Cary Academy , North Carolina visited our school for one week.

•  On 15 th June 2006, the first Sino-Canadian graduation ceremony was hold at our school.

•  On 3 rd July 2006, a delegation group concluding 30 American high school principals visited our school. Principal WANG Xuejin, vice principal MA Yuxia and our English teachers hold the talk.

•  On 22 nd September 2006, Principal WANG Xuejin and new international department director went to Beijing for the international education exhibition.

•  On 5 th October 2006, the news about volunteer activities for protecting Longmen Grotto hold by teachers and students from Sino-Canadian was reported on the front page of Dahe Daily.

•  On 18 th October 2006, the recruiters from University of British Columbia visited our school.

•  On 18 th October 2006, principal WANG Xuejin visited Kansai Language Institute and graduates of our school.

•  From 21 st to 31 st 2006, 9 students from Sino-Japanese program joined the Chinese high school students' delegation group organized by Japanese government and Chinese education department and went to Japan .

•  On 21 st December 2006, the president of Kansai Language Institute and accompanying staff came to our school holding the enrolment meeting and interviewing students.

•  On 24 th December 2006, Sino-Canadian program and Sino-Japanese program hold the Christmas party.

•  On 27 th December 2006, the vice principal of Abuza high school, Tokyo, Japan and other 4 accompanying staff negotiated the issues concerning the exchange activities.    

•  On 10 th February 2007, Chairman HU Jiayu and international department director went to America for exchange visiting for 2 weeks with students.

•  On 5 th March 2007, Sino-Japanese program was reported as the ‘the convenient access to Japan for high school students' on Dahe Daily.

•  From 6 th to 8 th March 2007, Mr. Alan Lowe, the vice minster of education department of Nova Scotia , Canada inspected Sino-Canadian program for 3 days.

•  On 5 th March 2007, the first offer of 200 class arrived. With the help of school officials and the assistance of Canadian and Chinese staff, all the grade 12 students application was received by the universities they applied for in advance. HU Menjie received the offer from the top leading university --- Dalhousie University in the east coast of Canada on the first day of new term and being the first students getting offer in the 2007 class.

•  On 29 th March 2007, a group of 19 from Abuza high school, Tokyo , Japan came to our school for the exchange activities for 3 days.

•  On 3 rd April 2007, YONG Heng was accepted by the leading university in the world. The combining education system of Sino-Canadian program offers great help to its students on the way to famous universities.

•  On 10 th April 2007, vice principal MA Yuxia visited Kansai Language Institute and students from our school.

•  By 19 th April 2007, all Sino-Canadian graduates in 2007 class received the offers from America , Britain , and Canada .

•  On 6 th May 2007, the students WANG Shuhan, WANG Jiaxin, YANG Xin, NIU Cheng were accepted by Toronto University .

•  On 14 th May 2007, Sino-Canadian was reported as ‘Sino-Canadian program is full of happy news' on Dahe Daily.

•  On 22 nd May 2007, Westall high school, Australia came to our school negotiating the agreement of being sister school.

•  In June 2007, ten students from international department enter the final round  of ‘the third Dahe English competition'. SHAO Keran, from 10B, was the champion.   

•  On 17 th June 2007, the president of Kansai Language Institute and our school officials attend the graduation ceremony of Sino-Japanese program.

•  On 18 th June 2007, the photos of Sino-Japanese graduation ceremony were published on Dahe Daily.

•  On 18 th June 2007, international department director attend the forum ‘the trend of studying overseas in 2007' organized by Henan news group.

•  On 18 th June 2007, the delegate of enrolment from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, Australia visited our school.

•  On 20 th June 2007, Sino-Canadian program was reported with the headline ‘109 offers for 32 students' on Henan business news.

•  On 25 th June 2007, Sino-Japanese program was reported with the headline ‘excellent job for Sino-Japanese program, 2 students were enrolled by Waseda University , Japan ' on Dahe Daily.

•  On 27 th June 2007, graduate WANG Yan from Sino-Japanese program 2006 class  (now in Kansai Language Institute) achieved the scholarship granted by Japanese government.

•  On 29 th June 2007, the Sino-Canadian program graduation ceremony was hold in the school hall. The officials from Canada education department, section chief WU Changyun from Henan education department, school officials and thousand of students and parents attended the ceremony.

•  From 25 th June to 18 th July 2007, vice principal GUO Huaiyuan went to Britain for exchange activities for 20 days with 30 students.

•  From 17 th -23 rd July 2007, vice principal YUAN Yusheng visited our sister school in Japan Abuza high school with teachers and students.

•  From 8 th to 19 th August 2007, principal WANG Xuejin visited Monash University , Australia and attended the Westall Secondary College anniversary ceremony with invitation.    

•  On 17 th September 2007, a education delegation group of 38 of Japanese government.

•  On 18 th September 2007, Ms. Karen Casey, the minister of education in Nova Scotia , Canada visited our school

•  From 22 nd to 26 th September 2007, Mr. Frank Covey, the regional supervisor of Nova Scotia , Canada , came to our school evaluate and inspect teaching in Sino-Canadian program.

•  On 7 th October 2007, Dahe Daily reported the Sino-Canadian program volunteer activities for Jiaozuo nursing home.

•  On 10 th October 2007, Mr. Charlie Hunter, the chief of international enrolment office of Mount Alison , Canada , came to our school holding enrolment meeting.

•  On 20 th October 2007, the 50 th anniversary of Henan Experimental High School . The delegator of Nova Scotia education department, IDP education Australia , Monash University , and Westall high school attended the ceremony. Cary Academy sent the congratulatory letter.

•  On 20 th October 2007, the president Hidetaka Matsuo attended the 50 th anniversary. Waseda University and Abuza high school telegraphed their congratulations.

•  From 20 th October to 3 rd November 2007, the students from Sino-Japanese program went to Japan joining the group organized by education department for exchange activities representing Henan province.

•  On 23 rd October 2007, our school students went Beijing join the moot UN activity for the first time.

•  On 30 th October 2007, the recruiters form five universities from Nova Scotia , Canada ( Dalhousie University , St. Mary University , Acadia University , Mount Alison University , and Carleton University ) came to our school for enrolment meeting. Dalhousie University agreed that our Sino-Canadian students do not need provide IELTS or TOEFL score while applying.

•  On 8 th November 2007, 3 of Sino-Canadian students got 7.5 score for IETLS, one for 7.0.

•  On 10 th November 2007, Manitoba University visited our school and agreed that our Sino-Canadian students do not need provide IELTS or TOEFL score while applying.

•  On 14 th November 2007, the delegators of liaison of Waseda University came to our school hold enrolment meeting for Waseda University .

•  On 17 th November 2007, Saskatchewan University hold enrolment meeting in our school and agreed that our Sino-Canadian students do not need provide IELTS or TOEFL score while applying.

•  On 20 th November 2007, the recruiters of University of British Columbia visited our school and hold enrolment meeting.

•  On 1 st December 2007, the recruiters of University of British Columbia visited our school and hold enrolment meeting.

•  On 4th December 2007, the recruiters of Carleton University visited our school and hold enrolment meeting.

•  On 10 th December 2007, vice principal MA Yuxia's essay ‘to realize British basic education' was published on Dahe Daily.

•  On 11th December 2007, the recruiters of Winsor University visited our school and hold enrolment meeting.

•  On 24 th December 2007, the Christmas party organized by Sino-Canadian program and Sino-Japanese program was showed in the hall of school. Chairman HU Jiayu, vice principal MA Yuxia, YUAN Yusheng attended this show with school Chinese and foreign staff and about 500 students.

•  On 28 th December 2007, the present students of UBC YU Heng and HU Mengdie came to their mother school introducing their experience to grade 12 students.

•  On 7 th January 2008, Mr. LIU Shimin, the vice president of Shaanxi Committee of CPPCC and Mrs. WANG Junlan, the principal of Xi'an high school visited the international department of our school.

•  On 8th January 2008, the recruiters of Alberta University visited our school.

•  On 10 th January 2008, Mr. Hidetaka Matsuo , the president of Kansai Language Institute, Japan visited our school and hold the enrolment meeting.

•  On 9th February 2008, vice principal MA Yuxia and director NIU Binghua went to Canada for recruitment and visited the graduates of Sino-Canadian program.

•  On 15th February 2008, the principal and vice principal of Adelaide high school visited our school

 

•  On 5 th March 2008, the graduates of Sino-Canadian program and Sino-Japanese program received the first group of offers from overseas universities.

 

•  On 7 th March 2008, vice principal MA Yuxia went to Beijing joining the activity of moot UN with students. Our school achieved award for Best Organization and Best Analyzing.

 

•  On 7 th March 2008, the students of Sino-Canadian program GAO Yuan, ZHANG Yaxing, HAN Xu received the offer from one of the leading universities of Canada , McGill University .
